Our client is a corrugated packaging manufacturer based in Wiltshire, delivering high quality corrugated boxes and cartons, corrugated board eco-bins and bespoke packaging solutions to leading industrial and consumer companies. As a Plant and Service Technician/Engineer, you will be tasked with supporting the maintenance department, working alone or as part of a small team, maintaining all equipment and services.

In this key role, you will focus on planned preventative maintenance, helping to facilitate the implementation of ongoing maintenance schedules.

You will take part and assist with the maintenance, modification and installation of plant, services and facilities across our client's two sites. When breakdowns occur, you will review the situation, analyse the cause and plan the repair with a focus on minimising downtime. You will also monitor and report on actions taken.

As part of your role, you will be required to travel between our client's sites throughout Wiltshire in order to support business requirements.

To be considered for this specialist role, you must:

- Possess a 17th Edition and City and Guilds qualification in Electrical Engineering
- Have proven track record in mechanical engineering or a qualification
- Be a time served engineer
- Possess a driving licence and access to your own transport

As a Plant and Service Technician/Engineer, you must be flexible with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work well within a team environment as well as autonomously is key.

A background in manufacturing would be advantageous to your application, but this is by no means essential. Welding and fabrication experience would also be beneficial.
